Dr. Palmer Peet
Dr. Palmer grew up under regular chiropractic care, along with his four siblings, three of which also became Doctors of Chiropractic. He and his siblings never knew what it was like to be sick. He was raised totally drug free and no one in his immediate family ever took any medications.
Dr. Palmer’s parents, Drs. Helen and Nelson Peet, had their practice in their home. Even as a child growing up, he saw first-hand patients that would enter his parent’s practice sick, unwell, and suffering. Then, sometimes in short order, they’d become well, vibrant, and remain well for years. It was only natural for him to want to follow in their footsteps.
So, Dr. Palmer became a Doctor of Chiropractic, doing his undergraduate studies at Tulane University. He then entered Life Chiropractic College, and graduated with honors with a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic in 1983. He’s spent most that time since then in active chiropractic practice. He quickly had one of the largest practices in New England, and almost immediately began giving back in numerous ways outside his office.
He’s served on the Board of a non-profit Foster Care Program. He was appointed by two different governors to serve on the Vermont Board of Chiropractic Examiners, where he became the chairperson. He co-authored chiropractic texts used by Doctors of Chiropractic in relation to care and management of pediatric and prenatal chiropractic cases. He’s been a post-graduate faculty member of Life University, an adjunct faculty member at Life Chiropractic College West, and served as the Director of Alumni Relations at Life Chiropractic College West. He’s also served as the Representative Assembly Person for the International Chiropractors Association for both Vermont and California. He’s been an officer in the Vermont Chiropractic Association. He’s a member of the President’s Circle at both Life University and Life Chiropractic College West. He’s been a past instructor of Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP). Dr. Palmer has also represented the Vermont Board of Chiropractic Examiners at the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Board. He holds membership in the International Chiropractors Association-ICA, and the California Chiropractic Association-CalChiro.
Dr. Palmer states that although he has served the chiropractic profession as a teacher, author, lecturer, college administrator, and a government official, his true love has always been as a practitioner. He states “ I love caring for people and seeing the potential for self healing awakened inside them each time they receive a chiropractic adjustment”.
Dr. Catherine Peet
Then her life dramatically changed after she started getting regular chiropractic adjustments. Her immune system began to get stronger and stronger, and all her problems went away, and she has now been infection free since. She also witnessed the same changes in her 7 year old son, who had been experiencing regular colds, ear infections, and other sickness.
He became one of the healthiest kids at school, and no longer needed medication or had to take sick days. After Dr. Catherine fully understood the power of having a properly aligned spine and nervous system, she couldn’t sit on the side lines any longer. She decided that she, too, had to help people find the root of the cause of their ailments and show them that there is hope to gain back your health and express your full potential without drugs or surgeries.
She focuses on structural and neurological correction of the nervous system through Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care, Chiropractic Biophysics, Full spine adjusting, and Neurological exercises. The techniques that she uses are gentle, low force, effective, and tailored specifically to each individual and their bodies.
